Consultation Information

The Governing Body of St Pancras Catholic Primary has launched a consultation, which started on 15th May 2023 and runs until 3rd July 2023, into whether the school should close.

The process for consultation will follow the Department for Education statutory guidance, Opening and closing maintained schools (publishing.service.gov.uk) which outlines the four stages: consultation, publication, representation and decision.

It is a statutory requirement for the Governing Board to consult any appropriate parties before publishing specific proposals to close a maintained school. This consultation is the first stage of the process, and therefore we encourage you to engage with it.

The consultation document below contains details of how to make your opinions know (section 4 – How to share your views).

There is also a ‘frequently asked questions’ section below, which will be updated after the meeting and again at the end of the consultation period.

Attached to the consultation document is a response form which can be completed in a number of ways. This is the best way for you to make your views known to us and we would encourage you to complete and return it within the stated timescale.

Have your say by 3rd July 2023
