White Rose: Session 5

Can you use blocks, Lego or other small world items to create a large scale representation of a journey you have been on?

Or you can create an obstacle course.

Today we are thinking about the Three Little Pigs.

What happens to them in both versions of the story?

What would they tell us?

What did the Wolf do to them in the first version?

Activity: Draw/paint one or all of the pigs. You could use a paint program on your computer to create the pigs.

In a speech bubble write what happened to them. You could include how they feel.

We are revisiting some tricky words today. Read the tricky words was and  the.

You could hide the tricky words and go on a word hunt.

Tricky word spotter. Read the sentences and colour in the tricky words you spot.

Understanding the world and Expressive Arts and Design

Create a map to show the journey of the Three Little Pigs and the Wolf.

Talk about your map and see if you can use any of the positional words we have been looking at this week.
