Welcome back to the Spring term wonderful Eagles class. The next 6 weeks may feel strange as most of our learning will be online, but we will still be following the same curriculum as if we were together in our classroom.

This term our topic is 'Significant People - Focusing on Women'. We will be exploring what the term 'inequality' means and how women's rights have changed over the years. Each week we will learn about a Significant Woman and what their impact to society has been.
Furthermore, during our English lessons we will be using extracts from the books; Fantastically Great Women who changed the world by Kate Pankhurst and Little leaders, Bold Women in Black History by Vashti Harrison. Inspired by these books, we will organise debates and plan, write and edit persuasive letters.
