English

Using the Mexican story you listened to on Tuesday (which you can find again by clicking here) write your own list of fantasy gifts you could buy a loved one in the same A - Z style.

Write this in the style of an acrostic poem. Information on how to write acrostic poetry can be found by clicking here.

What you will need to do, down the left side of a sheet of paper, is write the letters A - Z, one on each line. Think of as many amazing gifts as you can to fill the lines. Get creative and inventive with this, Senor Calavera buys some very unusual things for Grandma Beetle.

Maths

Today, spend some time on TTrockstars, practicing something maths based that you think you could do with a little extra practice in.

Topic

Research a famous and popular type of Mexican food!

Look up the sort of things they eat in Mexico. Options could include burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, tacos, fajitas, guacamole, or many many more if there is anything else that takes your interest.

Write a brief paragraph about the history of this meal, and find a modern recipe on Google or Youtube. Include what ingredients you usually find in the recipe, and an accompanying picture.

If you have the ingredients and an adult available to help, have a go at making the recipe, to see if you too would enjoy eating like a Mexican!
