If your story is finished, go through it and check it for grammar, spelling, and other things you think you can improve. Have you used all the things we have practiced? Go through the checklist below to see if you have included everything we have been working on. If not, try and find somewhere you can add something, or a sentence or paragraph you can improve.
- Adjectives and descriptive language
- Similes
- Metaphors
- Personification
- Adverbs
- Fronted adverbials
- Subordinating conjunctions
- ‘Show don’t tell’ description
Maths
Today, spend some time on TTrockstars, practicing and playing times table based games.
Topic
Research an element of Mexico’s physical geography. Choose one of:
- a well-known Mexican beach
- a well-known Mexican mountain
- a well-known Mexican desert
- a well-known Mexican forest
- a well-known Mexican river
Find one that is important or significant to the Mexican landscape and research some information about your chosen feature. Then create a fact file poster for this. You can do this by hand or on a computer, and can design it however you wish. This should be at least the size of an A4 page, and should have multiple different facts or paragraphs, as well as a way to make it interesting to look at. The design is up to you.
