Today you will be having a look at a non-fiction report about Pompeii, and a very famous event that happened there in Roman times.
Last term you studied non-chronological reports, and wrote them about a friend, and about Mexico.
What I would like you to do is read through the report given to you here. I would then like you to research Pompeii, and add at least one more paragraph to the report. Think about the style of the writing and what information you think would improve the report.
Continue practicing the comparison between decimals and money.
Section A = mild
Section B = hot
Section C = spicy
This term you are going to be focusing on coding. Coding is how anything on your computer works, and runs.
You will be using an online program called Scratch for this.
In Scratch it will guide you, step-by-step through the complicated world of coding. There are tutorial videos that you need to follow to practice your coding. If the tutorial does not play, click the 'Tutorials' link at the top, next to a little picture of a lightbulb. Today you need to follow the 'getting started' video. Don't forget to click the arrows next to the video to complete it all.
