We really enjoyed making ten today and loved the  'Ten Again' song on Numberblocks.

Our favourite facts so far are that seahorses have armour-plated bodies and that they have independently moving eyes!

I hope you enjoy learning about fish this week. We have been finding out about pufferfish and sailfish today. We couldn't believe how long a sailfish is!

Term 5

There is a lovely video on BBC 2 about bees, it is William Whiskerson, bee farm.

Some of our bee work.

Bumble-bee parents, Wild About Gardens has a wild bee action pack which contains lots of information on the different species.

If you would like to send me photos of your home learning or have any questions you can contact me directly at

This week we are thinking about plants. Here are a few wildflowers I found today.

BBC Bitesize has a KS1 Science section all about plants. You can also see a beautiful animation of a dandelion field on The Gruffalo which is also on the BBC.

I hope you have enjoyed looking for worms and learning all about them. At school we have really enjoyed digging for worms and discovered that worms have tiny hairs!

Our swift box has a visitor.
