Today we will be moving onto a new story. Can you guess what this story is from these words? Cow, beans, giant?
It’s Jack and the Beanstalk! What do you know about this story? What characters can you remember? Where is it set? What is the plot?
Activity: Today you will be filling in the characters, setting and plot for the original Jack and the Beanstalk story. On Monday, we will then be reading an alternative version of the story and filling in the rest of this worksheet.
Please can this activity sheet be brought into school on Monday, as we will be completing it with the new story on Monday! Thank you!

Every Friday morning in Maths, the children participate in the 99 club to help them to recall mathematic facts including, number bonds and multiplication questions.
They have 5 minutes to see how many they can complete and work to improve on this each week. Once they are able to complete all the questions on the 11 club within 5 minutes, they can then move onto the next club the following week.
